The Tortured Poets Department Tracklist with ALL the Versions

Taylor has recently been putting out many different variations of the albums. Why? It's capitalism straight and simple. If artists put out different versions of the same album but with one or two song difference they can sell more copies. Target used to have a market on this, but Taylor realized she could do her own thing and put them out on her website. This time she had four different album variations with one song different on each. It is interesting to note that the cd does not come without one of these extra songs. "The Manuscript" is considered the standard track list and is not exclusive to any stores or sites.

Do I like Taylor? Yes. Will I buy all the collectors cd's and vinyls? Cd's yes, vinyls no. There are too many and I am not a fan of how the vinyls are produced. It is not good for the environment. But that aside here are all the different version of "The Tortured Poets Department" and how to get them.

And finally to the Target editions, they have all the different versions of The Tortured Poets Department, "The Manuscript", "The Albatross", "The Bolter", and "The Black Dog". The last three come with a 2-sided poster with photo and handwritten lyrics. I did not buy these because I bought the collectors version on her website that had a magnet, 4 photo cards, a track patch, and a bookmark and an envelope that contained the extras with Taylor's handwriting (name and description written by her).
